| In 2008, Hayward Bait and Tackle expanded its hatchery operations. A new 2300 sq foot hatchery facility has been built to comply with new DATCP and DNR rules pertaining to VHS. Inspected and approved by Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection and USDA APHIS. Hayward Bait and Tackle is working on providing certified disease free “farm raised” bait for the fishing and tourism industry in Northern Wisconsin. |
